INDUSTRY & ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE:

·        Presently submitted the Ph.D thesis in film studies (Dept. of Electronic Media & Mass Communication, Pondicherry University) and awaiting for the public viva-voce.
·        Completed Master of Communication & Journalism (MCJ) from Don Bosco College, securing third rank from Kannur University (2006 - 2008).
·        Eight Month Experience as Lecturer in Journalism in Vismayam School of Animation & Special Effects, Calicut (August 2011 - March 2012).
·        Three year experience as Lecturer and Multimedia Department in charge in J D T Islam College of Arts & Science, Vellimadukunnu, Calicut (June 2008 –July 2011).
·        Participated in the syllabus restructuring workshop for Kannur University undergraduate course in Journalism.
·        Completed One month internship in Malayala Manorama Daily, Calicut.
·        Worked   as   AssistantThe DirectorSpider”.   for   the   fiction
·        Directed the Documentary titled “Gujarat: Oru Kozhikodan Varthamanam”,based on the life of Gujarathis settled in Calicut.
·        Done the main character in the fiction “Beyond”.
·        Secured the best student award from Pazhassi Raja College for the academic year 2003- 2006.

EXAMINATIONS QUALIFIED:

·        Cleared the UGC- NET JRF in Mass Communication in June 2011.
·        Cleared the State Eligibility Test (SET) in Journalism in September 2011 conducted by the Kerala Government.

·        Co- authored and presented the paper “Depiction of Gender inequalities in Animation Films : An Indian Scenario” in the 3rd International Conference on “Gender – Politics – Performing Arts” organized by the Department of Performing Arts, Pondicherry University, on 25th & 26th March, 2014.
·        Participated in the two day International Conference on “Contemporary Discourses of Gender” and presented the paper “Discourse of Queer Identity: An Analysis of Queer Self in selected Malayalam movies” on 12th and 13th January, 2016.

·        Participated in the 10 days Capacity Building Research Methodology Workshop (3rd – 12th, November 2014) organized by Department of Education, Pondicherry University under the guidance of ICSSR.
·        Participated in the UGC sponsored Six Days National Workshop on Research Methodology in connection with the Interaction Programme for Ph.D Research Scholars from 9th to 14th, March, 2015 organized by UGC Academic Staff College, University of Calicut.
